Our seasonally changing menu and specials allow us to take advantage of the very best in local artisan ingredients. Fresh ingredients treated simply to produce traditional British classics with a modern influence.
We’re pretty serious about drink too with a fine selection of traditional cask ales, spirits and cracking wines, together with a wide range of soft drinks, not forgetting freshly roasted bean to cup coffee.
Dine al fresco in our courtyard or enjoy a tipple in the beer garden overlooking the picturesque Norman church where the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, was married. On chillier days or winter evenings the log fires and relaxed atmosphere will keep you cosy.
